Red Robin

Red Robin

Red Robin now colours my view,
New to my spheroid,
New to my spring and my step.
Another new life.
Here is the springtime
Of an Easy Earth at its dawning.
Springtime arrived with these new leaves.
But over in the distance,
Past Cherry Blossom,
The bare branches display
Last seasons messing places.
Empty nests in empty trees.
The fullest joy yet eludes us
Until the new growth,
The new life
Is working within such sanctuaries.
And fledglings again appear.
