Targeted

Today I am a good target

Because I’m holding The DNA.

Another awful Wednesday moment, drags it’s easy way

Across the ledge of my face.

I have the craggy features

Of the Matter Horn.

Dizzy and critical I go on

To wind my clockwork clock,

Wondering, is it counting up,

Or counting down my hours?

Do I add anything or am I a minus?

There is only one thing certain,

I am living the dartboard dream.

Somewhere, someone has me

In their sights.

This is reason enough for me

To take flight.

So as I seal this envelope

With a wet tongue,

I pass to you along with my DNA,

My take on today.
