Hands On

Who would shine a flashlight

Bright into their own face,

Then see nothing with the light?

Who would take a microscope

To observe the starry Cosmos?

Who can turn their inner self

To outwardly appear as moral?

And who can search their soul?

Why would you want to so be blinded?

There is light enough in each heart,

To cause life to be good.

And everyone brings their gift,

It has only to be given.

There is hope when the mind is free

And the inner self just let’s things be.

There is no self interest in love.

Everyone deserves to feel it.

We just need to reach out and touch it.

Then pass it on and on and on, hands on.
