Every day

When I take my look

It is as if to refresh,

To refresh my world.

This we all do.

Every where

We compass and pass.

We creep under with blinking eye, navigating.

We meander, sometimes stealing a squint.

In no way devilish, we rebuild our worlds.

Every time

In minor plays

We cringe and rage.

And gate our byways.

We griddle and crave.

Every new day

Our proof is wholesome,

Life is alive with action.

And when awakened

The world becomes refreshed.

Every Generation

We meddle and breed,

And cape our children freely.

Our sport is in their eyes,

Their development, our victory.
